Publication Process of the South Asian Research Publishing Organization (SARPO)

The South Asian Research Publishing Organization (SARPO) follows a transparent, rigorous, and ethical publication process designed to ensure the highest standards of academic and scientific integrity. Our process emphasizes quality, originality, peer review, and open access dissemination to advance global research visibility.

1. Manuscript Submission

Authors are invited to submit their manuscripts through the email available on the SARPO website. Each submission must follow the specific journal’s author guidelines, including formatting style, referencing pattern, and ethical compliance statements (such as plagiarism declaration and conflict of interest disclosure).

Key requirements:

  • Original and unpublished work

  • Properly formatted manuscript

  • Author details with affiliations and contact information

  • Abstract and keywords

Once a manuscript is received, it undergoes an initial screening by the editorial office to check for:

  • Relevance to the journal’s scope

  • Adherence to submission guidelines

  • Plagiarism and ethical compliance (checked using similarity detection tools)

Manuscripts that meet the preliminary standards proceed to peer review. If any issues are identified, the authors are notified for revision or clarification.

3. Peer Review Process

SARPO follows a double-blind peer review system, where both authors and reviewers remain anonymous to ensure impartiality. Each manuscript is reviewed by at least two independent experts in the relevant field.

  • Originality and novelty

  • Scientific accuracy and methodological soundness

  • Clarity of presentation

  • Relevance and contribution to the field

Based on reviewers’ recommendations, the editorial board decides whether the manuscript will be accepted, revised, or rejected.

4. Revision and Resubmission

If revisions are required, the authors are asked to address the reviewers’ comments and resubmit the revised manuscript within a given timeframe. The revised version may undergo a secondary review to ensure all feedback has been properly incorporated.

5. Editorial Decision

After peer review and revision, the Editor-in-Chief or Managing Editor makes the final decision regarding publication. Accepted manuscripts proceed to copyediting and formatting for online publication.

6. Copyediting and Proofreading

Accepted manuscripts are edited by SARPO’s editorial team for grammar, consistency, and formatting according to journal standards. Authors are provided with galley proofs to review and approve before final publication.

7. Post-Publication and Indexing

SARPO ensures that all published articles are made freely accessible under the Open Access policy. Published papers are indexed in various international databases and Google Scholar, enhancing the global reach and citation of authors’ work.

9. Ethical Standards and Retraction Policy

SARPO adheres strictly to the ethical standards of publication as outlined by the Committee on Publication Ethics (COPE). Any cases of plagiarism, data fabrication, or unethical conduct are handled according to COPE guidelines, and papers may be retracted or corrected if necessary.

10. Continuous Communication and Support

Throughout the publication process, SARPO maintains clear communication with authors, providing timely updates and editorial assistance. Our goal is to ensure a smooth, fair, and professional publication experience for every researcher.

SARPO’s publication process upholds academic excellence through rigorous peer review, ethical publishing, and global open-access dissemination, empowering researchers to share knowledge that contributes meaningfully to the scientific community.
